WHOLE HEALTH: From the inside out - Session #1/7
7 Stages to Sustainabilty, (7SS) Stage 1: Build a team around your ideal future.
Focus: What’s calling us to action? Who is here? What do we believe it takes to live well? What does it mean to be an effective leader?
BEING HERE NOW: WHAT MOVES US? The goal of the Whole Health Breakout #1 is to discover who is here and why -- so that we can co-create the space for connection, inspiration, and collaboration. We will hear from phenomenal movement leaders who will talk about what is effective leadership and how we can cultivate it. Through a series of facilitated exercises, we will indulge ourselves in the juiciness of getting to know each other, and identifying what it is that moves us towards action and evolution of food, health, and lifestyles - from the personal to the planetary.
INTERSECTION OVERVIEW:
What does it take for us to live well? What does it take to be holistically healthy?
With stress and anxiety related disorders, obesity and hypertension on the rise in both developed and developing countries, we are in need of a holistic health intervention - one that covers everything from sourcing real food to cultivating health and vitality to creating empowered lifestyles – for all people.
Cultivating holistic health – mental, physical, emotional and spiritual - is about understanding the impact we have on our health and the health of others around us - plants, animals and our communities and combining ancient methods and new technology to creating a culture that invests in and supports a holistic way of being and living - in body, mind and spirit.
Join Mirna Folco and Anne Koller in co-creating a full-bodied approach to evolve food, water, health and lifestyles.
GOAL FOR PARTICIPANTSOur overall goal for this Intersection is to ignite collaborations between participants. These could look like a co-producing an event, sharing resources like email lists, contacts, funding opportunities, or forming alliances and working together on existing movements. In each of the breakouts, we have reserved time for connection between participants. We also have identified elder mentors in our track who can serve in the "wisdom circle" and reflect back to the group what is emergent and prescient to clear blocks and move towards aligned action, however that looks like for this group.
