Circular Economy expert and Founder of Exchange4Change Brasil
A Chemical Engineer, with a MSc in Water and Environmental engineering from Surrey University/UK and a highly passionate professional determined to bring people together, influence better business practices and bring international expertise to Brazil. For over 10 years she has worked in the UK with government funded programmes providing sustainability advice to companies of all sizes and sectors. Back in Brazil, at Braskem she got involved with circular economy for the 1st time in the context of plastics and renewable chemicals.
In June 2015, she founded Exchange4Change Brasil, the 1st global knowledge exchange platform aimed at influencing the transition to the circular economy in Brazil by co-creating solutions adapted to the Brazilian reality. She has been working closely to international experts to bring best practices and inspire brazilian companies and government through the transition.
She hosted the 1st OSCE Days in Brazil, created the Circular Economy Hub at UFRJ and was invited by the Dutch consulate to represent Brazil at the launch of The Netherlands Circular Hotspot.
